At Hopkins: Recovered from two elbow surgeries to contribute last year • has great movement on fastball and a wicked slider • very hard worker • will do anything to help the team. 2003: Started four games and made three appearances out of the bullpen • was 2-1 with a 4.82 ERA in 18.2 innings • struck out 16 batters and allowed 15 hits while limiting opponents to a combined average of .211 • held right-handers to a combined average of .163 (8-for49) • earned his first career victory against William Penn on March 11 • struck out a career-high six batters and gave up one run on three hits to earn the win against Catholic on April 3 • pitched a scoreless inning versus DeSales in the NCAA Regional Tournament.
