Joining Jim Margraff's coaching staff this season is Eddy Augustin, who arrived at Homewood in March. Augustin, who will coach the Blue Jay special teams and linebackers, went through spring practice with the team and has been active in the recruiting process.
Augustin comes to Johns Hopkins after spending two years as the defensive line coach at Mansfield University. A four-year member of the football team at Millersville, Augustin spent two years as the running backs coach at his alma mater (1999-2000) before moving on to Norwich University, where he assumed responsibilities as defensive coordinator and defensive line coach after originally handling special teams.
Augustin coached at the high school level for three years prior to his time on the staff at Millersville. He later interned with the football programs at the University of Pennsylvania and Sonoma State and earned his master's degree in sports psychology.
