BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins field hockey team (6-4, 2-0) moved into the NFCHA Coaches Poll Tuesday morning, coming in at #19. The Blue Jays have won five straight and are tied for second in the Centennial Conference at 2-0. This is the first time Hopkins has been ranked since November 12, 2002.
The Blue Jays put their #19 national ranking and an undefeated conference record on the line tonight when they visit the Swarthmore Garnet. The Garnet (7-3, 2-1) are tied with the Blue Jays for second in the conference. Hopkins leads the series with Swarthmore 9-5 and has won eight of the last nine meetings. The last time the Blue Jays visited the Garnet they lost 1-0.
